Holistic and Herbal Approaches to Autoimmune Conditions | Part 1 of 2

Did you know that it is estimated that 1 out of 31 people in the US have Autoimmune disease, that this number is on the rise and that women are almost 3 times as likely to develop Autoimmune disease?!

So what are Autoimmune diseases? They consist of multiple separate syndromes that share one commonality, the immune system has become dysfunctional and is now attacking certain types of the body’s own tissue. Some common Auto Immune diseases include Celiac, Graves, Hashimoto’s, Lupus, Psoriasis, Crohn’s, Type 1 Diabetes and many more.

Most people who have been diagnosed with Auto Immune disease are told that they will have to live with a progressive disease for the remainder of their lives, with some cases reducing quality of life and life expectancy. If there are conventional options for treatment it generally involves pharmaceuticals that come with unwanted and sometimes life-threatening side effects.

However herbal and holistic approaches can be of amazing support!

This workshop will cover the basics of Autoimmune disease, with a focus on specific types such as Celiac, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Hashimoto’s, Grave’s, Crohn’s and Psoriasis. You will learn some herbal and holistic health protocols can be incorporated to ease symptoms and find healing of the disease along with guidance on when it is important to seek support from a health professional, including your Doctor and Registered Herbal Practitioner.
